Tenderheart Program at AHG Camp Carolina

AHG Logo with hiking trip

As part of AHG Camp Carolina for 2018, we are providing a small-group Tenderheart program. We have a limited number of spots remaining in this program--an introduction to summer camping.

Who is this program for?
The Tenderheart group at AHG Camp Carolina is intended for older Tenderhearts, i.e. rising third graders (present second graders). All Tenderhearts at camp must have a parent present who is a registered adult member of AHG in good standing. Parents should exercise judgment on whether their daughter is prepared to attend a week long resident camp. Note that the majority of parents of Tenderhearts will be principally working with other ages at the camp.

What will Tenderhearts be doing?
Tenderhearts will be doing much of the same things older Girls are doing at the camp, to the extent allowed by AHG Health and Safety guidelines. However, they will maintain their own schedule and operate as a group throughout the week. Tenderhearts will be working on 5 badges: Archery, Boating Safety, Swimming, Textile Arts, and Insect-A Inspect-A. The program is being supervised by an experienced Tenderheart Unit Leader from Troop NC1210.

How do I register?
Registration is through the same Registration Portal as the rest of the camp.
